Shipping & Handling

Important Notice

Please note that all duty and customs taxes applicable are at client’s expenses Claus Porto cannot be held liable for any further costs.
Claus Porto will send you an email when your order is shipped with the tracking number so you can follow your order.

Shipment of your order

All orders confirmed until 10:00 A.M. (GMT+0 time) on business days will be shipped on the same day. After 10:00 A.M. the order will be shipped 24 hours (maximum) after it is confirmed on business days.

After you have made your purchase, you will receive a confirmation. As soon as we are ready to send your purchase, we will send you the shipping details. If you have chosen the MB payment option (available for Portugal only) your order will be sent out upon receiving the payment.

Please note that all delivery time frames are estimations and that they may vary during busier trading periods.

Forwarders

We ship with DHL Worldwide and UPS in the USA.
In case we need to change the forwarder, so we can offer our best service, we will inform you on the shipping confirmation email.
If desired you can also have your purchase send for next-day delivery (available for some countries only – confirmation on checkout). For estimates on cost please verify on the checkout.

Delivery times and shipping fees

Please note that Claus Porto is not liable for any customs or duty taxes applicable for the country of receipt.

For destinations outside the EU, please consider that these delivery estimates do not include time needed for the customs department of your country. Customs control may delay your delivery time. This process may take up to 5 business days. Our prices are excluded of all taxes applicable by the custom law of your country.

Liability in case of damage or loss during transit time

Once the order is shipped Claus Porto cannot be held responsible of anything that may happen to your order. In any event you may contact us to support@clausporto.comsupport@clausporto.com and we will gladly answer all of your questions.

Shipment tracking

Claus Porto will always send you an email with the tracking details of your order.
You will be given a link to have direct access to the status of your shipment. If we cannot provide the link you can go to the forwarders’ website and use your tracking code.

Delivery

The package is delivered directly to your address. If you're not at home when the delivery arrives, an attempted delivery notification will be put through your letterbox. This notification will indicate the date and time of the attempted delivery, together with the post office where you can collect your package.
Upon delivery of the order, you must check the conformity and the status of your package in the presence of the forwarder and notice all relevant concerns about apparent defects (missing product, damaged package).
You are invited to contact Claus Porto within 14 days of receipt. Except for legitimate reasons, any claim beyond this period will be considered inadmissible.
If after 7 days you still haven't received your package, and no notification has been left, please try checking the status of your package. You can contact us by email at support@clausporto.com

Delivery address changes

Once the order is confirmed and in our system no changes can be made on our end.
Our customers are responsible for providing the right shipping information.

Shipping restrictions

Shipping restrictions apply to products containing substances which, as constituted, are considered hazardous to air transport. These include some of our liquid products containing alcohol, which cannot be shipped to certain countries.
If you have added one of these products to your cart and the shipping address is in a country where such restrictions apply, you are required to remove your product(s). Alternatively, you can change the shipping address to a destination where such restrictions do not apply.
